Central City Brewers and Distillers is a craft brewery in the business of developing and selling international award-winning premium craft beer and high-quality distilled spirits brewed without compromise. Based in Surrey, British Columbia, CCBD was voted Canada Best Brewery of the Year in 2010 and 2012. Its Red Racer brand has become a cult icon among craft beer enthusiasts throughout North America. Founded in 2003 as a brewpub and liquor store in downtown Surrey, CCBD celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2013 with the grand opening of a brand new, 68,000 sq. ft. brewery and distillery on Bridgeview Drive. In 2019 we opened a 40,000 sq. ft. storage facility with approximately 2000 barrels of whiskey ageing in this facility. We are proud of being a local-Canadian Brewery that is currently expanding. In 2021 the company completed installation of a new canning line designated for contract manufacturing.


JOB SUMMARY


The
Sales Manager is responsible for the formulation and execution of sales strategy for all CCBD line of craft beer and spirits.

This role requires a knowledgeable and passionate leader with a demonstrated history of winning and an entrepreneurial mindset.

You will be required to manage the on-premise, liquor board, and retail channels ranging from large key accounts and owner-operated small businesses.

Reporting to the Founder and President, the Sales Manager needs to have a strong pulse on industry trends. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a sales growth strategy and that uses data analytics, creativity, and innovation to achieve the company's sales goals
  • Oversee and supervise the Category Manager to ensure retail accounts are delivering profitable results
  • Manage the P&L and department budgets
  • Key account management including the expansion of key account footprint
  • Monitor competitive activity and marketplace trends to drive innovative products and ideas
  • Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction and retention
  • Work closely with marketing and social media functions to establish successful support, channel, and partner programs
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration
  • At least 5 years of experience of liquor sales where you established a proven record of growth
  • At least 2 years of management experience
  • Expert knowledge of alcohol beverage industry
  • Excellent clientfacing and internal communication skills
  • Expert analytical and relationship building skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
