    A McDermot Avenue Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0T6

Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics Max Rady College of Medicine

    University of Manitoba

    Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

The Pearson Lab is recruiting for a full-time term Postdoctoral Fellow and Research Associate to help lead our CIHR- and CCS-funded lung cancer projects to:

    (1) Explore the role of epigenetic plasticity and transcriptional reprogramming in lung cancer evolution and drug resistance.

    (2) Identify novel therapeutic strategies for the treatment of small cell lung cancer, the most aggressive form of lung cancer.

To address these projects, our lab employs a multifaceted approach. We utilize a combination of in vitro approaches along with unique mouse genetic and xenograft models of lung cancer plasticity. This is coupled with leading-edge genomic, proteomic, CRISPR and single cell techniques. Together, this will allow us to better understand molecular mechanisms underlying the genesis and evolution of high-lethality lung cancers to identify novel therapeutic approaches to treat these cancers. For more info about the lab and these projects, please visit our website:
