We continue to grow and today are looking for a committed, talented, star to join our team as our
Accounting Intern.



Position Summary/Objective:


As the Accounting Intern, you will be responsible for assisting with special projects within the Controllership team with a special focus on Accounts Payable.


The Accounting Intern plays a critical role in supporting the Finance department to ensure that all accounting processes and documentation are completed in a timely and accurate manner.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Demonstrate and uphold Riverside's core values
  • Work with the team to implement and hold the business accountable for the PO to pay process within the organization
  • Become an expert in the PO to Pay Process at Riverside and help educate the business on the processes
  • Create SOP's for the Accounts Payable team.
  • Validate company wide vendor master data as it relates to the Finance department
  • Assist the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable team as need such as entering purchase invoices into to the accounting system and assisting with cash settlements
  • Support other areas of the finance department including: Accounts Receivable, Treasury, month end activities
  • Data entry of financial transactions into SAP
  • Maintain supplier files
  • Keeps the work atmosphere
    FUN by keeping it light and welcoming
  • Other duties as assigned

Reporting Relationships
The Accounting Intern reports to the Assistant Controller.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal,
    OWNERSHIP and communication skills; good mathematical skills

  • Strong computer skills, intermediate level or above for Microsoft Office 2007 Word, Excel and Outlook
