We are looking for an Inventory Controller, Boutiques


As an
Inventory Controller, Boutiques, you will be responsible for inventory control of the Museums' Boutiques and publications, planning and coordinating the annual inventory count, overall control of merchandise from receipt to placement, control, risk management, and financial processes related to merchandise and publications (inventory reports, financial processes, processes and procedures followed by employees, monthly and quarterly reports, etc.), and supervision of employees.


What we are looking for:


  • Expertise in the field and a concern for order and quality;
  • A cooperative and teamoriented person with a sense of urgency.

You have two (2) years of relevant experience:

  • In monitoring and controlling a large inventory of goods from a computerized perpetual inventory system;
  • Inventory control and stocktaking systems;
  • In the supervision of employees;
  • In the shipping and receiving of goods for resale;
  • In reconciling various documents such as the packing slip to the purchase order.

Knowledge of:


  • Inventory control methods using computer technology;
  • Shipping and receiving procedures, and general retail operations;
  • Financial software such as NAV, inventory systems such as Counterpoint, and the MS Office suite.

Education:
High school diploma or an acceptable combination of education and experience.


Other conditions of employment:


  • Must have a valid driver's license;
  • Enhanced Reliability Security clearance;
  • Ability to lift loads up to 15 kg.

Compensation:
$ 54,926 to $ 67,971
