SUMMARY


The Manager, Planning & Reporting - TFMO is part of a team designed to provide support to the broader organization and its clients across the national program of work.

This position is integral in leading a team that will prepare comprehensive reports for the TFMS service lines, enabling Sr leaders to make well-informed business decisions.

The Manager, Planning & Reporting supports the development of new solutions, service improvement initiatives and the effective business and delivery management for all services within the TFMS portfolio including LAS Project Coordination.

Their role is focused on support reporting and data analysis, process documentation, and quality management of the service line to proactively drive effective service delivery, administration, and delivery support.


KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

People Leadership


Demonstrates strong, competent leadership for team members to guide them in reaching their full potential and meeting their objectives, which supports achievement of our corporate goals.


Specifically, these responsibilities include but not limited to:
Full involvement with recruiting talent.

Provides mentoring, coaching and guidance to all team members.

Technical Training and Development.

Objectively recommends compensation adjustments.

Manages all aspects of performance.


Reporting & Strategic Planning
Leads the development and delivery of high-quality reporting and analysis to support decision-making processes.

Participates in strategic initiative development and management, ensuring alignment with corporate initiatives.

Oversees financial and resource planning reporting, driving continuous improvement in reporting formats and information integrity.

Participates in the refinement, execution, and maintenance of the Performance Excellence System.


Maintains a document pipeline with the aim of supporting continuous improvement and arms Program Directors with supplementary information required to establish documentation for their service lines.

Works with other lines of business as required to ensure alignment and execution of broader strategic initiatives.

Integrally involved in planning and execution of fiscal year end processes, execution, and communication.

Generates and compiles data from multiple data sources using various business intelligence tools and information management systems.

Provides analytical support to identify trends, risks and opportunities for the service line.

Develops new reports as required to support business decision making.


Quality Management
Monitors programs and audit processes that guarantee service quality and consistency.

Monitors service delivery and document deviations in processes, work instructions, and policies.

Works closely with National Director to identify continuous improvement opportunities to meet contractual requirements, client objectives, and program evolution.


Financial Management
Supports adherence with all financial policies and procedures.

Supports financial risk management through data analytics.

Reviews all monthly reporting and supports team development of quarterly forecast activities.


Tool Development


Provides support in the development of new workbooks and analytical tools as required by the team to improve work effectiveness / efficiency for administration of projects and reporting.


Communication


Supports the effective communication of new tools, processes or other content to be housed on the TFMS hub or Intelex.

Supports monthly governance reporting to the client for all regions


KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
University or College Degree (Bachelors level or greater).

College diploma or equivalent training associated with process development, process management, innovation and quality management. (5-7 years' experience in the area of business process management, quality, strategic development, process development, continuous improvement).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

English/French bilingual is an asset.

Effective leadership skills and management skills. (1-3 years in a managerial capacity)

Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.

Able to meet requirements for Federal/Provincial Security Clearance.


Computer proficiency in relational databases, reporting tools, MS Project, MS 365 including Excel and Power BI with ability to learn new information management systems quickly.

Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
