As a vital member of our operations team, we are looking to add a Guard Rail Foreman to lead a crew in the installation of guard rail, cable barrier, and other safety systems.

Working closely with the Operations Manager, the Guard Rail Foreman will play a vital role in supporting project completion.

Responsibilities

Support and train a crew of labourers in guard rail installation
Complete pre and post trip inspections on vehicles and trailers
Secure cargo and heavy equipment to flat deck and double drop deck trucks
Safely drive and operate vehicles out to infrastructure job sites throughout the city
Operate various hand and power tools; including drills, skid steers, etc.
Assist operators in loading and unloading construction materials from trucks both manually and utilizing the use of equipment
Execute daily work under the direction of the site superintendent
Participate in daily safety meetings and fill out hazard assessments
Maintain a clean work site by handling materials and storing them properly
Report incidents immediately to health and safety or site supervisor

Qualifications

Previous lead hand, supervisory, or foreman experience
Valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract
Ability to work evening and weekends when required
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Preferably, experience with installation of guard rail, cable barrier, and highway sign structures
Preferably, class 3 license

Hours of Work

Hours of work may vary depending upon project schedules and timelines; however, must be capable of working a minimum schedule of Monday through Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm with weekend and evening work when required.
