YOUR ROLE


Reporting to the IS&T Solutions Manager, Functional Analyst Teamcenter is responsible for Tailoring TeamCenter for use at BRP, participates in new technology based business solutions and will be responsible for translating the business requirements into specific processes.

The position requires extensive functional and technical expertise on Teamcenter, excellent communication skills and business acumen. The incumbent will work closely with clients, architects, the development team and managers.


YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to provide production support for the following Teamcenter components:
Structure Manager

Manufacturing Process Planner

Change management

Product Configurator

Workflow Viewer

Application administration

Access Manager (Rules and Access Control Lists - ACL)

Query Builder

Workflow designer (Workflows)

Organization

TCxml/PLMxml

Classification

Technical understanding of BMIDE (Business Modeler Integrated Development Environment)

Technical and functional understanding of Active Workspace

Issue Investigation

Deployment support

Application Monitoring

Develop/document AS IS and TO BE Solution Specification for team members to work from.

Provide Technical guidance and mentor support team members in advanced PLM functionalities.

Translate business requirements into specific PLM solutions for complex projects.

Author functional specs to document all detailed implementation information

Analyze interdependencies of functional and non-functional requirements

Functional Skills

To qualify for this position, you must possess strong communication, organizational, and technical writing skills.


You will be able to demonstrate your strong troubleshooting and analytical skills through architecture and design discussions across technologies, through critical escalation support, and by mentoring others in your ownership area.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze live-site issues quickly.

Prior practical experience with change control, source control, and release management.

You must possess strong interpersonal skills, be a critical thinker, with excellent oral and written communication skills.

Be able to understand, capture requirements as you will participate in solution discussion. evaluate and propose solution approaches

Be able to collaborate with technical and business teams to determine the details and the value of solutions

Handle business expectation across project cycle


YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or similar technical discipline and 3+ years of professional experience with Teamcenter system administration experience; or 5+ years of professional experience with Teamcenter system administration without a degree

3+ years professional experience with IT operating systems, networking, and system administration (specifically Windows)

Willing to travel on rare occasions

Willing to work after core business hours and on weekends
