    Description

    Job Title: Training Centre Cybersecurity Operations Specialist at CAE D&S Canada

    Join our team as a Cybersecurity Operations Specialist and be responsible for managing various cyber technologies, reviewing security requests, analyzing and improving security tools, creating reports, and providing support for client training centres. As part of this role, your background in information security, network security, and cybersecurity best practices will be invaluable.

    Responsibilities:

    • Monitor and maintain DLP policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized access to data
    • Manage and configure cyber technologies including firewalls, antivirus, encryption, and more
    • Review and approve security requests such as access rights and software installations
    • Analyze and enhance security tools and controls
    • Create security reports and metrics to measure operational effectiveness
    • Monitor security configurations and compliance using Azure Sentinel and other tools
    • Provide cloud security guidance to stakeholders
    • Act as subject matter expert in incident response
    • Support clients with security assessments and recommendations
    • Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and best practices
    • Participate in security awareness and training programs

    Role Breakdown:

    • Day to Day Cybersecurity Operations activities– 80%
    • KPI's, Metrics, and reporting – 10%
    • Participating in Critical Security Incidents – 10%

    Requirements:

    • Government of Canada Security clearance at Secret or higher
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Cybersecurity operations
    • Ability to travel to various Canadian Training centres
    • Professional certification in Cybersecurity and cloud technologies (e.g., CISSP)
    • Proficiency in DLP and other Cybersecurity technologies
    • Knowledge of Cybersecurity standards, regulations, and best practices
    • Familiarity with security tools and services such as Sentinel and AWS Security
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and French
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
    • Problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
