Description
We are currently looking for a
Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This position is
temporary, full-time for up to 6 months for a leave coverage. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for all inbound and outbound activities within our warehouse. This requires the ability to work effectively with other departments, such as Sales, to plan and coordinate shipments. If you have excellent organizational skills and experience working in a warehouse, then we want to hear from you


Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare orders for shipment by processing requests and pulling and packing boxes.
  • Arrange pickups and schedule delivery appointments with carriers.
  • Accurately prepare all shipping documentation.
  • Track shipment to final destination.
  • Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles and trucks.
  • Work with other departments to prepare and receive Purchase Orders.
  • Complete accurate and uptodate inventory checks.
  • Complete reports by entering required information, such as inventory counts, into the ERP (SAP).
  • Organize, catalogue, and maintain stock in a warehouse environment.
  • Operate warehouse machinery, such as a forklift, powerpack, and/or aisle stacker.
  • Assist in keeping facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently.

Qualifications:


  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position.
  • Must have a valid Forklift Operator certificate.
  • Experience using a power jack or aisle stacker would be considered an asset.
  • Experience in import or export shipments from booking to final delivery.
  • Able and willing to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Strong English oral and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency working with Microsoft Office and ERP systems. Experience working with SAP would be considered an asset.
  • High degree of attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, productive and efficient.
  • High level of professionalism, with an ability to work effectively with mínimal supervision.
  • A teamplayer with the ability to work well within a small team.
  • Able to learn quickly.

This position is 100% on-site.
