Production Support Team Lead

The Production Support Team Lead reports to the Engineering Manager/Engineering Director, and will be responsible for direction all Production Support team tasks.

About Salford

Key Accountabilities

Direct all tasks for team to ensure prioritizing and organizing to best meet production needs and scheduling.
Maintain all required manufacturing information in the corporate resource planning software (INFOR).
Delegate all engineering, purchasing, obsolescence, deviation changes as assigned.
In progress changes are clearly communicated to all Salford sites (as necessary) and process is completed in a timely manner.
Investigating root cause of shortages, or bill of material issues brought forward by the Quality, Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, and Production departments.
Creating and following processes, standard workflows and quality control measures.
Maintain/Update the Wholegoods order configurator.

Minimum Requirements

3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
At least 1 year of team leader or supervisory experience
Microsoft Office Suite experience with strong excel capabilities
Experience with ERP software (INFOR Cloud Suite an asset)
Bill of materials management
Good communicator
Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines
Attention to detail and accuracy
Proven troubleshooting, organizational and multitasking skills
Strong work ethic and positive outlook
