The Senior Vice President of Training & Certification will lead Navigatr Group's training & development strategy, driving companywide engagement and enhancing our diverse sale teams and executive leaders.

As a critical member of the senior management team, the SVP is responsible for leading training across the organization calibrated to achieve our strategic goals.

This role will focus on creating and executing programs that provide an impactful and transformative experience to our sales staff ensuring they are provided with the tools and resources to be successful in their roles.

We are looking for someone who has successfully onboarded a high volume of new hires, worked on various platforms to connect remote workers, has experience building an intranet with online training courses and support, and collaborated with external partners (e.g., universities) for content and/or training.


Responsibilities

  • Develop Navigatr's training and certification function by identifying required skill sets and assessing extent to which necessary appropriate training and resource support are in place.
  • Achieve sales training objectives by developing, implementing, and managing ongoing training certification programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and drive productivity, quality, employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention results.
  • Foster a positive and engaging work environment for each team member by promoting skill development, coaching for improvement and growth, inspiring others through your words and actions, ensuring positive employee morale.
  • Design and implement short and longterm processes, systems, and structures necessary to consistently achieve objectives.
  • Develop a team ethos of sales enhancement. Explore, practice, and implement thought leadership and various sales practices to enhance the experience of the workforce.
  • Implement strong policies and procedures for training and certification that aligns with Navigatr Group's values and encourages collaborative creation and development processes within the team.
  • Develop, implement, strengthen, and support a strong field testing and review processes for new training curriculum.
  • Ensure responsible and effective use and management of contractors in the development of different types and forms of content and training for different audiences.
  • Lead team culture by building healthy collaborative relationships within the team and between team members and key stakeholders in organization.
  • Work closely with business leaders and other members of the organization to develop and execute highquality, sustainable learning and development programs and solutions across business units, driving relevant business focused learning outcomes.
  • Participate as a member of the leadership team to contribute to strategies in training enhancement with a variety of internal stakeholders and business leaders.
  • Oversee the onboarding and training of new talent, ensuring team members have the resources, knowledge, and skills necessary to succeed and integrate smoothly.
  • Undertake learning needs analyses for key groups, articulating learning needs, and translating these needs into learning offerings and/or recommendations.
  • Continuously seek to elevate our development approaches, including gathering feedback from participants and managers and monitoring trends in performance data regarding knowledge or skill gaps.
  • Travel in Canada and the US as required. Estimated travel will up to 20% of annual work time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree; Master's degree is desirable.
  • Ten (10) years of training leadership and certification experience in a corporate setting with a proven success in educational program development, program certification, and managing complex training programs.
  • Experience Develop and implement effective yet responsible departmental policies and procedures to ensure an accountable production of quality content and training curriculum.
  • Maintain healthy and positive relationship with fellow executives to ensure consistent, positive, and enjoyable collaborations among their respective team in the pursuit of the company's strategic aims.
  • Provides ongoing visionary and thought leadership to sales enhancement, training, and mission.
  • Outstanding research and analytical capabilities.
  • Strong project management mindset and is hyper organized in approach in delivering and managing operations.
