    Description
    Job Title: Maintenance Electrician
    Salary: $40-$42/HR
    Shift: Afternoon
    Location: Waterloo, ON

    Job Description:
    • Complete the safe and efficient repair and maintenance of plant facilities and equipment as required, including working with external contractors.
    • Conduct routine maintenance of production equipment to ensure the most efficient flow of production with the least possible downtime.
    • Ensures all electrical parts, wiring and equipment conform to electrical code requirements in a safe and efficient manner. · Support maintenance of spare parts list.
    • Work according to schedule made by production department and Maintenance Supervisor and ensure scheduler is aware when work assignments cannot be completed as planned.
    • Maintain detailed records of labour hours of unscheduled repairs and improvements and technical repairs when creating work orders.
    Essential Qualifications:
    • General knowledge of blueprint reading.
    • Must own Toolbox/Tools to carry out tasks.
    Desired Experience:
    • 2-3 years of experience in a similar maintenance electrician role.
    • 442A certificate
    • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
    • Overhead crane, towmotor, aerial lifts and measuring devices (such as: micro meter, height indicator, etc.) experience is an asset.
