Based in Vancouver, we design, build, and operate hydrogen fuel production, distribution and supply solutions to advance the deployment of hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles.
Job Brief
Responsibilities
- Identify & develop new business opportunities and partnerships for the Clean Fuels Business Unit.
- Engage with external stakeholder and customers to secure hydrogen sales and swap agreements.
- Work with HTEC's Clean Fuels project team to align facility development plans with sales targets and business plans.
- Establish pricing strategies for both gaseous and liquid hydrogen supply for external customers.
- Coordinate with internal HTEC business units to ensure external sales and internal demands are aligned with facility capacity by region.
- Develop and maintain sales forecasting tools by facility and region.
- Coordinate with HTEC's contracting group to develop standardized term sheets and sales contracts to enable scale of the business.
- Work with the Operations group to establish invoicing and sales tracking procedures for bulk hydrogen sales.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 12 years of experience in business development, sales, and / or product management roles.
- Degree in relevant area required (Commerce, Economics, engineering + MBA).
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Experienced commercial negotiator.
- Financial modeling and pricing strategy expertise.
- Previous sales experience in industrial gases, energy, or commodities is required. Operations and logistics experience is an asset.
- Hydrogen and / or clean fuels (e.g. biofuels, LNG, LPG, CNG) experience is an asset.
- Proficient with MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Project)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must have valid work authorization in Canada and be able to travel to US.

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Experience:
- BD, Sales, and/or
- hydrogen or clean fuels: 5 years (preferred)
