The opportunity

We're seeking a Junior Accounting Assistant to join our team. Your key role? Providing essential accounting and administrative support to our Finance Team. Dive into the world of timely general accounting and reporting activities, with a specialized focus on
CWB Maxium accounting. Ready to elevate your career in finance?


The day to day- Support the daily processes for the Finance Team, including daily data uploads, daily entries and reconciliations.- Ensure timely and accurate payments, approaching every interaction with a customer service focus.- Exercise discretion and respect the confidentiality of all customer and vendor transactions.- Perform cash processing including reconciliations, transfers, remittances and reporting.- Assist in the preparation of daily and monthly entries and account reconciliations as required.- Support the rest of the Finance team, consistently providing thoughtful, insightful, and timely support and responses to various queries.

Successful incumbent


Foundational knowledge and experience to grow from- High school diploma, A post secondary degree or diploma in accounting or another related field would be an asset.- Two or more years administrative or accounting experience- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)- Progressing towards an accounting designation would be considered an asset.
