The
Front Desk Agent is a part of the
Cathedral Mountain Lodge guest service team.

The front desk is generally the first interaction with a guest when they arrive at Cathedral Mountain Lodge, therefore this role requires a high level of customer service and multi tasking.

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Room reservations and room sales
  • Guest Service (Concierge)
  • Bellhop
  • Assisting dining room with reservations
  • Performing end of day accounting procedures
  • Monitoring expenses and revenue for dining room
  • Following checkin /out procedures
  • All other duties as required
- _ We do not have any phones in our guest rooms, therefore guests will come directly to the front desk for dinner reservations and ideas of how to make the most of their Rocky Mountain Adventure _

Details:


  • Fulltime, working up to 40 hrs. a week,
  • Hourly wage with an end of contract bonus,
  • Staff accommodation onsite, $10.00/day, includes all meals and laundry.
  • May 18, October 7, 2023 (TBC),
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada prior to offer of employment.

Qualifications:


  • Min. 1 yr. front desk experience preferred,
  • Enrolled in a hospitality/tourism program, an asset,
  • Previous experience using Five Star Hotel Software, strong asset,
  • Must be 100% guest service oriented, have excellent people skills with a positive and upbeat personality,
  • Outdoor enthusiast, a passion for hiking and exploring the Rocky Mountains,
  • Second language, an asset
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
