Job summary
We are looking for an experienced Sourcing Manager who can build a new starter product portfolio from scratch and lay the foundation for scalable growth.This role is strategic and hands-on focused on product selection supplier sourcing portfolio logic—not sales or marketing execution.
Responsibilities
- Identify easy-to-market products suitable for online sales
- Source reliable suppliers Germany EU or international
- Evaluate products based on demand & competition pricing & margins logistics simplicity scalability for e-commerce Request compare quotations MOQs lead times certifications Build structured starter portfolio SKU logic categories pricing tiers Coordinate samples initial supplier communication Document suppliers products in clear scalable structure What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in sourcing procurement product management
- Strong understanding of e-commerce products online marketplaces
- Able to think in portfolios single products Analytical structured way working Independent proactive solution-oriented Fluent in English German strong plus What This Role Is NOT
