    Description
    Ottawa Inner City Health is seeking an Executive Assistant to join our Administrative Team . The Executive Assistant will be responsible for a wide variety of administrative duties in support of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and other senior management members.
    Duties include but are not limited to corporate and board meeting minute-taking and distribution, scheduling appointments and drafting both internal and external correspondence, arranging travel plans, and performing accounting clerk duties. The Executive Assistant serves as Secretary of the Board of Directors and will assist in proposal submissions and help maintain online communication vehicles for Ottawa Inner City Health, including but not limited to Ottawa Inner City Health's website, email templates, and social media accounts.
    Qualifications:
    • Post Secondary Diploma in Business Administration, or relevant discipline, required.
    • 2 – 5 years' experience in an administrative or executive assistant role required.
    • Previous experience in Health Care and/or not-for-profit is an asset.
    • Strong knowledge of office procedures and practices including procurement, travel arrangements, board and budget management, reports, etc.
    • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) and Adobe Products
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Works well with others and handles direction in a positive manner.
    • Superior time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
    • High level of sound and independent judgment, reasoning, and discretion.
    • Politically and culturally sensitive.
    • Resourcefulness and flexibility.
    • Keen attention to detail.
    • Previous experience in handling confidential or sensitive information; knowledge of applicable data privacy laws.
    • General finance and accounting skills.
    • Meticulous records maintenance skills.
    • Superior telephone manners, email etiquette and strong interpersonal skills.
    • Strong customer service orientation.
    • Ability to obtain a clear Criminal Record Check.
