Group Benefits Service Representative.

What can you expect?


The Service Representative is responsible for providing support to the Sales Representatives and Account Executives in our Group Benefits Division.

The objective is to support and assist with business development and retention through proactively maintaining relationships, responding to inquiries and managing issues.

We will count on you to:

  • Provide service support for a team of Sales Representatives and Account Executives.
  • Foster and maintain productive relationships with plan advisors.
  • Manage client and/or broker issues proactively.
  • Respond directly to advisor inquiries including but not limited to questions on quotations, plan amendments, underwriting guidelines, new business requirements and submissions, commissions, contracting/licensing and website inquiries.
  • Research answers to complex inquiries and/or claims issues.
- 'Provide training to advisors and assistants on Victor advisor portal.

  • Provide assistance to Sales Representatives and Account Executives with escalated claims issues.
  • Provide general support duties as required.

What you need to have:


  • 1 to 3 years of experience in the Group insurance industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365: Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Must possess exceptional communication and analytical skills, multitasking abilities, as well as problem solving, decision making and organizational skills.
  • Must be a strong team player.

What makes you stand out:


  • Secondary education in insurance or business administration is preferable.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
