- Must be able to communicate fluently (verbal and written) in English and French
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Experience providing secretarial and administrative support including reception duties
- Excellent verbal communication skills in French
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain good working relationships with colleagues and the public
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to exercise good judgement in response to various situations
- Ability to handle highly sensitive material and information in a confidential and professional manner
- Strong organizational skills and ability to perform tasks effectively in a fastpaced work environment
- Strong written communication skills in French
- Strong written communication skills in English
Desired:
- Experience or knowledge of SAP modules
Duties:
The Bilingual Receptionist acts as the first point of contact for the general public seeking information or access to government programs, including responding to electronic, in person, and telephone inquiries in both official languages.
The Receptionist also provides technical assistance to the clients on the use of public access computers, as well as administrative support to internal staff.
