Allwest Insurance's North Vancouver Branch is looking for an
Assistant Manager to join our team Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, this individual will assist with overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Autoplan office and road services.

Their primary responsibilities include leading the team to serve our customers in an effective and professional manner, and ensuring all daily operational duties are completed with accuracy.


  • This position involves various shift times, including being oncall on a rotational basis. The branch is open seven days a week, including statutory holidays, with the exception of Christmas Day and New Year's Day._

The duties and responsibilities of this role includes, but are not limited to:

  • Handle customer and dealership complaints
  • Train new hires and existing staff on procedures, products, and customer service
  • Oversee and review office/road agent duties and monthly targets
  • Learn ICBC and private insurers' audit procedures to help maintain compliance within the branch
  • Assist with improving sales and managing the online renewals
  • Assist with the monthly schedule and daily coverages
  • Other duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the Branch and as needed by Management

Skills and Qualifications

  • Level 2 General Insurance licence with the Insurance Council of BC
  • At least 3 years of experience in BC auto insurance
  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • Is selfmotivated and able to demonstrate responsibility
  • Ability to make quick and accurate decisions on the spot
  • Ability to adapt to a fastpaced environment

Job Types:

From $65,000.00 per year

Experience:


  • BC auto insurance: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Level 2 General Insurance licence (required)
