The Manager, FP&A for the Marmon Crane Services Group will serve a critical role in reporting and analyzing periodic financial results.

The role will include assisting and/or leading initiatives to improve the capture and presentation of financial and operational data/KPIs for respective entity and group leadership teams.

Policy creation, systems implementation and process standardization will also be key aspects of this role, as well as other tasks as assigned.


Essential Functions:


  • Coordinate monthly/periodic group key deliverables to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Analysis and presentation of results to management team, including recommendations.
  • Preliminary review of Authorities for Expenditures (AFEs).
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly financial close processes.
  • Develop, improve, and communicate company financial standards and policies.
  • Identify areas of improvement and implement solutions.
  • Assist with annual budget coordination, quarterly forecasting, and monthly projections.
  • Assist with preparation of presentation material for various senior leadership meetings.
  • Assist with strategic corporate initiatives and projects.
  • Assist with ERP implementation project (Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Manage financial/control policies to ensure compliance throughout organization.

Knowledge and skills:


  • Selfstarter with a cando attitude, driven for process improvement.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, commerce, or related field.
  • CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant/Certified Public Accountant) designation preferred, but not required.
  • At least 2 years of related experience in a finance or analysis role.
  • Intermediate level experience creating reports using Microsoft PowerBI or similar reporting suites.
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards Enterprise One and/or Microsoft Dynamics ERP systems an asset.
  • Experience assisting in implementing key financial systems (eg. ERP systems) an asset.
