Dream is looking for a Reception Administrator
We are always looking for the best and brightest to join our thriving community. Dream's Property Management team is currently looking for a Reception Administrator to support our Saskatoon Operations team.

This role will require a strong administrator experienced in anticipating the needs of tenants, building relationships and with a keen attention to detail.

What will you do as a Reception Administrator?
Below are some of the primary responsibilities you will be taking on in this role:

  • Establish and maintain a professional working relationship with tenants and address their concerns in a timely and efficient manner;
  • Assist Property Manager to manage tenant accounts: prepare statements of accounts, late payment notices and default letters;
  • Assist Property Manager with monthly rent collection and collection of arrears of rent; increase and track EFT participation;
  • Prepare monthly rent roll reconciliation, A/R updates and open purchase order reports, including examining variances from previous period, to be reviewed by the Property Manager;
  • Responsible for bookings for the tenant conference room and invoicing;
  • Prepare POs for capital projects, processing invoices and preparation of close out documentation for Accounting;
  • Processing of tenant charge back invoices and utility charge backs;
  • Responsible for collection of maintenance of tenant insurance certificates; and
  • Participate in at least one annual selected community involvement initiatives with your team and tenant events;
  • Manage office supplies and inventory;
  • Performing administrative functions related to the phone system;
  • Act as the Office Coordinator to provide office support services in order to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within the office; and
  • We like special projects and tasks, and we hope you do too

What type of experience is required?
These are some of the things we would like you to bring to the table:

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and communication with customers/tenants, both verbally and in writing; and
  • Highly skilled at multitasking and identifying priorities.
  • At least 2 years of experience with a real estate management financial system is considered an asset

Bonus, if you have experience in the following areas:

  • Working Knowledge of JD Edwards or YARDI with a basic understanding of accounting and lease/CAM interpretation;
  • Real estate industry experience;
  • Postsecondary education in Accounting or Property & Building Administration
