    The Floating Community Relations Director supports the sales function at the residence, as needed.

    You will provide leadership and support to residences in Ontario as the Interim Community Relations Director when there is a vacancy or in targeted onsite projects to assist the residence in driving occupancy.

    The Floating Community Relations Director will contribute to both residence and regional outcomes to support strong sales departments within the Ontario.


    KEY DUTIESGenerating and cultivating leads by:

    producing and maintaining both external and internal referral relationships with local and professional networks, and current residents, respectively, to develop prospective residents.organizing and executing successful on and off-site special events and activities, including cold calling, presentations, and attending local functions in the surrounding communityassisting in maintaining sales and marketing collateral.


    Converts leads to sales by:


    making outbound calls inviting prospective residents, their families and friends to tour the community and experience resident life in person.working to develop and convert leads from various lead generation sources.discovering prospect needs and wants to successfully negotiate terms of Resident Agreement with prospective residents; andsecuring and completing each sale within the parameters of Amica values and expectations.


    Maintaining market awareness by:
    monitoring and collecting information on competitor retirement living communities and completes competitive reports to ensure current knowledge of the competition, including their products and price offerings in order to sell effectively against them

    Other Responsibilities:


    Keeping the General Manager and Regional Director of Sales promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action which may be taken.

    Performing all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of the position.

    Ensuring that the work environment is safe and healthy.

    Maintains confidence that work is carried out in accordance with applicable environmental, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures and all other legislation, policies and procedures relevant to the work.

    Performs other related duties consistent with the duties outlined above as assigned both at the residence and regional level.

    Works collaboratively with the operations team at the residence to ensure all move ins are done in a timely manner with ease.

    This includes but is not limited to suite inspections.
