Fabrication/Lightbox Assembly Technician - Permanent
Company Overview:

We are a high energy, fast paced environment and looking to grow our company by hiring two (2) full-time Fabrication/Lightbox Technicians.
Position Overview:
Permanent, full-time Mon-Fri - hiring 2 people
Hours of Work:
Day shift 8am-4pm
Job Duties (include and are not limited to):
- Study and interpret assembly instructions
- Fabricate and assemble steel frames and light boxes
- Read and interpret product drawing and sketches
- Read parts list & determine if all parts are present
- Verify specifications and measurements
- Assemble components, tools and materials
- Ensure all parts are fitted and screwed in properly
- Alter dimensions to fit specifications
- Resolve assembly and production issues
- Complete preventive maintenance
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs as needed
- Ensure working environment is clean and safe
- Report errors in product line
- Check stock to ensure inventory is replenished
- Complete quality control checks
- Participate in product development
- Build prototypes and test products
- Measure, fit and assemble aluminum frames
- Operation of hand tools and shop equipment
- Operating an Industrial CNC Router & CNC Programming
- Operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards;
- Calculate and set machine controls to position the work piece and regulate factors such as cutting depth, speed and feed rates
- Deliver the required number of finished pieces according to production schedules
- Able to work independently and be selfdirected, while functioning as a team member and contributing to company goals.
- Strong working knowledge of basic math and measurements
- Previous fabrication experience, and good working knowledge of basic shop equipment and hardware.
- Basic Math Knowledge
- Basic Electrical Knowledge
- Ability to Read and Understand Work Orders
- Strong attention to detail measure and mark dimensions accurately, quality control for assembly and finishing as we are dealing with high end/high exposed products.
- Able to work independently and be selfdirected, while functioning as a team member and contributing to company goals.
- Takes direction well
- Ability to govern quality of outgoing product and manage corrections.
- Ability to organize and plan work from instructions, drawings and samples.
