Key Responsibilities:

Guide the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to meet customers demand
Guide the team on how to get the most of self organization
Assess the Agile maturity of the team and coach them to achieve higher levels, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable
Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on problem solving.
Support team in project charter definition, budget forecast and project admin (PO, invoice, etc)
Facilitate getting the work done, support the team to remove roadblock
Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
Influence and onboard internal and external partners in Agile project delivery
Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog
Contribute to map processes, define KPIs and generate ideas to improve

Critical Qualifications:

BA/BS degree in Operations and logistics, Computer science or a related engineering/management field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in a scrum/lean master position, focusing on improving a team
Excellent ability in facilitation, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
Strong decision making skills with the ability to influence and challenge decisions when necessary
Understanding of project management concepts
Ability to build relationships and work effectively with internal players and vendors
Must be autonomous and self motivated
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills,

Preferred Qualifications:

Scrum Master Certification (CSP, PSM II, etc) and/or Lean Master Certification
Knowledge and/or experience with Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games, Kanban
Applicable knowledge of the IT/network technologies
Previous experience as a team lead is an asset
