Key Responsibilities:


  • Guide the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to meet customers demand
  • Guide the team on how to get the most of self organization
  • Assess the Agile maturity of the team and coach them to achieve higher levels, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable
  • Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on problem solving.
  • Support team in project charter definition, budget forecast and project admin (PO, invoice, etc)
  • Facilitate getting the work done, support the team to remove roadblock
  • Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
  • Influence and onboard internal and external partners in Agile project delivery
  • Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog
  • Contribute to map processes, define KPIs and generate ideas to improve

Critical Qualifications:


  • BA/BS degree in Operations and logistics, Computer science or a related engineering/management field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in a scrum/lean master position, focusing on improving a team
  • Excellent ability in facilitation, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
  • Strong decision making skills with the ability to influence and challenge decisions when necessary
  • Understanding of project management concepts
  • Ability to build relationships and work effectively with internal players and vendors
  • Must be autonomous and self motivated
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills,

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Scrum Master Certification (CSP, PSM II, etc) and/or Lean Master Certification
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games, Kanban
  • Applicable knowledge of the IT/network technologies
  • Previous experience as a team lead is an asset
