Are you an organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Great Pacific Media is looking for an
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT to join our team Reporting to the Executive Vice-President, you will support the EVP and President in all facets of day-to-day activities, including administrative duties and general support.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:


  • Coordinating and booking meetings with key stakeholders, buyers, talent, etc.
  • Supporting the EVP and President with daytoday priorities
  • Liaising with key department heads including Development, Production Executives and Post Production to facilitate timely and effective communication
  • Attending creative and producer meetings to summarize outcomes, and take initiative on ad hoc tasks identified in the meetings
  • Managing calendars for EVP and President to ensure that they are accurate and up to date
  • Performing general administrative duties such as file management, preparing reports and other data, etc.
  • Booking travel and accommodations for EVP and President as required
  • Attending and taking meeting notes when needed. Sending the necessary follow up materials after meetings

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:


  • 12 year's experience working as an Executive Assistant is preferred
  • Ability to handle sensitive information, discreetly and maintain confidentiality
  • Strong people and interpersonal skills
  • Fantastic attention to detail
  • Strong organization skills, time management skills and an ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • A proactive approach to work and a willingness to take initiative and problem solve when needed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A general passion for television and creative teams
  • Currently legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Must be able to work inhouse in our Burnaby office full time
