Kepler is on a Mission to bring the internet to space.

Incorporated in 2015, Kepler's guiding star is to enable the space economy through the creation of a communication network in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) that will provide connectivity services to other space missions, be they on orbit in LEO, MEO, GEO, or beyond.

With an expanding base of early customers and our first 19 satellites in orbit, Kepler is continuing to grow and expand its most important asset - the Team Based out of our HQ in Toronto and with an office in the UK and a newly formed office in the US we are building towards a truly global company delivering a product for the whole world.


The People & Culture team play a significant role at Kepler to help shape the Kepler culture, but also support operations and engineering through a period of growth.

As an intern on the P&C team, you will be part of this transformational journey, working with specialists on initiatives that span across the organization.

Kepler has designed the P&C internship to offer you a wide range of diverse projects and prepare you for an exciting career in Human Resources This will include, but is not limited to:


Responsibilities:

Employee Engagement: Researching, conducting outreach and providing recommendations for effective ways to keep employees engaged in a remote work environment

Culture: Assist in coordinating monthly celebrations calls and activities. Part of team to assist with rollout of new corporate values initiatives
-
Talent Acquisition: Support Talent Acquisition team on scheduling interviews and consensus meetings
-
Onboarding: Support activities related to onboarding of new employees
-
HRIS: Participate in migration of HRIS and additional functionality in Paycor.

HR Projects & Support: Working enterprise level tasks and projects as determined by the People & Culture team.


Requirements:


  • Working toward a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment with frequently changing priorities.
  • Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Selfmotivated and able to work independently.
  • Advance knowledge in MS Office software suite with strong aptitude in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word.
  • Ability to research, collect and analyze data.
  • Ability to think critically and identify gaps, inconsistencies and inaccuracies.
