Job Summary:


As an Automotive Dismantler you will be responsible for removing various automotive parts that have been requested for sales/inventory/cores while ensuring all company safety policies and procedures are adhered to during the dismantling process.


Major Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Deplete all vehicle hazardous fluids while working in safe manner ensuring all Health and Safety Policies are practiced
  • Remove core items, sale items and inventory parts as per job work orders
  • Responsible for clearly marking all dismantled parts for identification purposes
  • Remove wheels and tires on all vehicles being inventoried/dismantled
  • Attention to detail is required to ensure disassembly work order sheets are accurate and all parts are properly dismantled and distribute to their locations
  • Maintain clean work area
  • Assist with other tasks requested by management

Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:


  • Mechanical inclined
  • Experience with heavy mechanical and late model vehicles

Must own various automotive tools such as air or battery-operated hand tools and mechanical tools to dismantler various vehicle parts

  • Ability to manage, organize and prioritize work
  • Enjoy working independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate, must have good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma
  • GED
  • Ability to manage time efficiently to ensure good productivity
- must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments

  • Forklift certification an asset
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License

Physical Demands:


  • Ability to move/lift 50lbs
  • Standing for long period of time
  • Working under hoist

Salary:
$18.00-$25.00 per hour
