Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Project Manager to join our dynamic team.

As a Project Manager at Pinnguaq, you will play a crucial role in overseeing projects that involve the intersection of technology and education.

You will work closely with each division at Pinnguaq, bringing fluidity to your work and leveraging your experience to drive successful project outcomes.


Responsibilities:


  • Strategically lead and oversee multiple simultaneous/overlapping projects from start to finish, identifying and monitoring deliverables and ensuring successful completion.
  • Ensure seamless project communication at all stages through to coordination of related project reporting (interim and final).
  • Take ownership of digital project infrastructure, overseeing project management software, file organization, and daily information input/update processes.
  • Initiate conversations with department heads to gain a comprehensive understanding of their strategic goals and how projects align with the organization's overall mission.
  • Work closely with the Education and Delivery teams to comprehend the logístical and operational aspects of project implementation, including outreach and engagement strategies.
  • Engage with the Production team to understand the creative and design aspects of project deliverables, ensuring that the final product meets highquality standards.
  • Collaborate with the Development team to align project requirements, grant opportunities, and evaluation criteria with strategic goals.
  • For projects with external stakeholders, act as the primary client contact, establish and facilitate advisory/steering committees and coordinate related project communication.
  • Organize regular meetings with stakeholders from different departments to share project updates, progress, and challenges.
  • Facilitate workshops that encourage brainstorming and ideation sessions, fostering an environment where creativity and innovation can flourish.
  • Identify potential roadblocks and challenges early in the process, allowing for timely adjustments and improved project outcomes.
  • Continue to cultivate a culture of open communication, where team members feel comfortable sharing ideas, concerns, and suggestions.
  • Establish channels for crossfunctional input, ensuring that the collective expertise of all departments is harnessed to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Lead by example, actively seeking input and valuing diverse perspectives, which will inspire others to do the same.
  • Utilize your project management expertise to create detailed project plans that outline the stepbystep approach to project execution.
  • Establish project timelines, breaking down tasks into manageable phases with clear milestones and deadlines.
  • Work closely with department leads to allocate the right expertise and resources to each project.
  • Proactively address resource constraints and identify opportunities to optimize resource allocation.


In this capacity, you will serve as the linchpin between different departments, ensuring a harmonious and coherent approach to project planning and initiation.

Your ability to foster collaboration, align diverse perspectives, and strategically plan for successful outcomes will be vital to the overall success of Pinnguaq's initiatives.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Computer Science, Information Technology).
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the technology or education domain, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
  • Familiarity with various educational methodologies, digital learning platforms, and technologydriven learning tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead crossfunctional teams, fostering collaboration and driving results.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
