Job Summary:


The Records & Customer Service Clerk, Courthouse will retrieve and deliver files to clients, provide records management support, and maintain department and corporate record standards and procedures in Records Management.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Create new files.
  • Search for and retrieve files.
  • Maintain accurate sign out system.
  • Shift files when shelves are too tight.
  • Log all requests and deliver to requestor.
  • Purge records, eliminate duplications, and place drawings into rolls.
  • Records management support, entering and editing close dates in computer, refilling microfiche images, correspondence, conduct searches of overdue files and rolls.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:


  • Grade 12 education
  • Completion or enrollment in a Records Management course
  • Minimum of one year related filing and records management experience.
  • Knowledge of computer systems, records management programs.
  • Requires redistribution of rolls, shifting files, folders and rolls, packing files, pulling heavy drawing files or rolls from shelves. May be required to stand for long periods of time. Exposure to computer keyboards and screens.
  • Primarily records room environment.

Hourly Rate/Salary:
$ 49, $ 66,385.00
