As a world leader in the design and manufacturing industry, Active Dynamics is seeking an eager and enthusiastic experienced
Material Handler - Forklift to join our successful Toronto team immediately.

We are looking for a talent with solid professional skills in the manufacturing industry.

Position Overview:

This position reports to the Supervisor of the department. The successful applicant will be supporting all Production and Warehouse areas as a Material Handler.

This is a 6 months contract hire with the potential of a full-time role depending on performance. The pay rate is $21.58/h.

What you will be doing:

Perform all duties according to the OHSA&R and Company Policies.
Conducts required checks to ensure the accuracy of part identification where required.
Pick and stage material for Production and store material in the designated warehouse areas.
Pick and deliver packaging, bins, dunnage, racks, and related products to other departments as required by the relevant department managers.
Advise of shortage in materials/goods to satisfy Production needs.
Takes part and supports cycle count activities.
Notifies Supervisor of damages/defects or other serious occurrences related to materials, equipment and facility.
Performs housekeeping, cleanup and other 5 Srelated activities as required.
Any other duties as assigned.

What you bring along:

Minimum grade 12 or equivalent education.
Require Lift truck license.
Written & oral aptitude in English.
Mathematical aptitude.
Conscientious and punctual.
Able to follow material handling and inventory procedures.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Team player.
