Primary Responsibilities:


  • Assisting in the financial reporting for the International and Reinsurance Division
  • Preparing journal entries
  • General ledger reconciliations
  • Statutory reporting
  • Assisting with the monthend and quarterend processes
  • Special projects as required

Qualifications

  • Students enrolled in Business Administration with a major in Accounting or Finance are encouraged to apply
  • PC skills with a good working knowledge of spreadsheet programs is essential
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Some exposure to financial reporting is an asset
  • Good communication skills required
  • Some overtime may be required
  • Ability to display responsibility and independence
