Description

Job Title:
Material Handler


Responsibilities:

Quality Control: Check incoming deliveries to ensure that all ordered materials meet established quality standards.

Material Handling: Load and unload packages using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and cranes.
-
Stock Organization: Efficiently organize stock within the warehouse, optimizing space and accessibility.

Order Fulfillment: Receive and check incoming pick tickets, pull material to fulfill orders accurately, and wrap orders for shipment.
-
Logistics Support: Place wrapped orders on trucks for delivery, ensuring they are properly secured for transportation.

Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and proactively suggest new orders when needed to maintain optimal stock levels.

Documentation: Record and document orders, materials, and any stock movements to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.


Requirements and Skills:

Experience: Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or in a similar position.

Equipment Operation: Proficient in using warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.

Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Manual Dexterity: Demonstrated dexterity and attention to detail in handling materials and operating equipment.

Organizational Skills: Ability to organize and prioritize tasks efficiently in a dynamic warehouse environment.

Physical Fitness: Capability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
-
Forklift License: Possession of a valid license to operate forklifts is a mandatory requirement.
