Description
This is a great opportunity to work in an exciting and rewarding work environment. We are looking for a well-rounded IT professional who is a good fit within our existing team. Your primary responsibilities will be providing day-to-day technical support, completing IT project activities, and assisting Junior Technicians as needed.


Responsibilities include:


  • Troubleshoot, research, and resolve technical issues.
  • Ability to work on projects and meet deadlines.
  • Performing equipment setup/troubleshooting (PCs, Servers, firewalls, switches, mobile devices)
  • Maintain technical documentation
  • Working with office staff in various technical roles.
  • Participate in an afterhours oncall rotation schedule.
  • Access to a vehicle is a must as some light travel around the GTA is required.

Must-Have:


  • A diploma in a recognized postsecondary program in computer technology.
  • A minimum of 35 years of experience deploying computers and solving PC, network, OS, and other technical issues and providing client support in a structured help desk environment (or an equivalent of experience and education)
  • Experience supporting current versions of Windows Server, firewalls, and Wi-Fi infrastructure
  • Advanced Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft Active Directory
  • Experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V hypervisors
  • Experience with Layer 3 networking, network security, and protocols.
  • Experience supporting physical servers
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills, organizational skills, and presentation skills
  • Troubleshooting skills with an ability to resolve complex IT issues in a reasonable timeframe
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Strong work ethics with a proven reliability factor
  • Participating in the 24x7 emergency IT support rotation (oncall)
  • A valid Ontario Driver's License and transportation for offsite work (mileage reimbursement provided)

  • Experience with Bitdefender or similar enterprise antimalware solutions
  • Experience with Autotask or similar Help Desk ticketing system
  • Experience with Fortinet firewalls and Wi-Fi access points
  • Certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals,

Microsoft Certified:
Azure Fundamentals, MCP, CCNA
