Description

This position assesses, configures, and maintains technological infrastructure and security systems for engineering to ensure they meet the organization's business needs.

They evaluate existing systems and determine ways to better align those systems to support engineering operations for increased efficiency and security standards.

They oversee the installation, integration, and maintenance of tools, services, and programs and provide ongoing support.

Working as an engaged team player within a highly collaborative Engineering team.
Helping to build and improve the team's cloud infrastructure.
Building multicluster Kubernetes structures.
Assist in production build & configuration of IRD OT equipment for deployment.
Contribute to the development of a DevOps platform.
Assisting development squads with the CI pipeline and build tools.
Access control for code repositories
Administration for Engineering tools (issue tracking, code repositories etc.)
Virtual machine templating, configuration, administration and management
Troubleshoot OT security and networking as issues arise.
Test firewall changes, performance tests, etc., provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports.
Provide technical training and support for appropriate teams
Assist in vulnerability testing, risk analyses and security assessments
Collaborating with other departments working to achieve Cybersecurity goals and meet policy requirements

Requirements:

College diploma or University Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field
System administration (Windows & Linux)
Solid understanding of Ethernet, networking protocols, routing, switching and Windows & Linux firewalls
Cybersecurity concepts and tools
Scripting (Bash, PowerShell)
Familiarity with:
Containers and Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
DevOps tools. (Ansible, Terraform, Vagrant, etc.)
Cloud Hosting Services (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
Works with others to deliver results, meaningfully contributing to the team and prioritizing group needs over individual needs.
Can effectively cope with change, finding ways to advance work and projects Uses an organized and logical approach to finding solutions to complex. problems, looks beyond the obvious to understand the root cause of problems, and proposes several possible solutions.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience effectively communicating with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Can create tools and services to accelerate development teams.
