Procurement Manager

The Procurement Manager is responsible for all purchasing related activities and for ensuring the delivery of materials or services to the site occurs on time, at the right price.

The Procurement Manager acts as a liaison between offices and field workers and must possess strong knowledge of procurement policies and procedures.

Here's What You'll be Responsible for:

  • Oversee and manage the obtainment of materials, construction equipment, and services needed to successfully complete a project.
  • Conduct product research and find solutions to issues that arise with the products.
  • Evaluate and develop innovative procurement strategies optimize spending, minimize risk, and generate savings.
  • Bid Analysis
  • Review Tender Drawings and Specifications and develop individual subtrade scopes of work
  • Preparation of Instructions to Bidders on Construction Management and Design-Build projects
  • Guarantee that materials, supplies, and equipment orders are placed in a timely fashion so that the company does not suffer a shortage.
  • Process packing and delivery slips as required. This includes checking for accuracy, assigning value for products received and matching against the purchase order.
  • Liaison with suppliers to ensure all technical data sheets are received and maintained in the master list.
  • Manage the Tender Process including development of Bidder's List, issuance of Tender Packages and followup correspondence with Bidders
  • Review tender results, compare with budgets, and prepare letter of recommendations
  • Negotiate and award subcontracts
  • Prepare subcontractor contract documents
  • Manage inventory.
  • Conduct subcontractor and supplier evaluations and selection
  • Oversee risk and compliance management.
  • Manage and conduct contract negotiations.
  • Perform data analysis
  • Prepare subcontractor tender packages including the scope of work.
  • Manage contractor coordination, by issuing the Contractor Agreement and all relevant documentation and verify return and completion in advance of their commencement of work.
  • Monitor delivery of outstanding purchase orders and expedite when necessary with subcontractors and suppliers.
