Description
We are looking to hire a skilled carpenter with knowledge of various carpentry techniques. You will be responsible for layout, installation, repairing, finishing, and maintaining various structures, fixtures, and buildings. Other duties will include designing, cutting, and measuring materials according to a client's requirements.


LOCATION:

JOB TYPE:
Permanent/ Full Time


SCHEDULE:
7:00AM to 5:00

PM


PAY RATE:
$25 - $30


JOB DUTIES

  • Experience in infrastructure or barn building carpentry
  • Cut, shape, install building materials for during the construction
  • Experience with concrete pours
  • Experience in multiple segments
  • Man lift and forklift experience is an asset
  • Maintain a clean and tidy workplace
  • Following safe operating procedures at all times

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to work in noisy environment
  • Ability to carry heavy load
  • Ability to stick to schedule and meet deadlines
  • Must possess excellent communication skills
  • Perform physical work and stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Salary:
$25.00-$30.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Alliston, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
