Responsibilities:


  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory bodies for Finance and AR accounts
  • Develop and implement credit risk management strategies
  • Lead a team of credit clerks to ensure efficient operations Manage and oversee the accounts receivable process, including rent collections and tenant billing
  • Implement and ensure effective collection strategies to minimize delinquencies
  • Collaborate with sales and finance teams to resolve credit issues
  • Prepare monthly rent statements as needed
  • Review and monitor tenant accounts to ensure timely payments
  • Reconcile tenant accounts and resolve any discrepancies on a timely basis
  • Produce weekly accounts receivable aging reports for regular review
  • Willing to take on ad hoc finance and miscellaneous projects as needed

Experience:


  • Accounting designation is required (CPA, CMA, CGA)
2. 5+ years of accounts receivable experience in a senior role


  • Experience with collections in the real estate industry is preferred
  • Proven experience in credit management, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
  • Strong budgeting and risk management skills
  • Knowledge of corporate finance principles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and proficiency in English
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with the team
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Nice, helpful and out-going personality

Pay:
From $120,000.00 per year
