We seek an innovative Software Development Engineer to build a database performance benchmark platform and workloads for our new distributed SQL service.
This role involves identifying critical performance and customer needs, designing workloads to benchmark the service, and driving continuous improvement.You will significantly contribute to the development lifecycle by providing actionable insights that influence design, development, and deployment of a new initiative within AWS.
The ideal candidate should have experience in performance engineering, transactional databases, and distributed computing systems.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
