Description

Barber Collins Security is looking for a Part Time Security guard to work Every Friday and Saturday night at a client location in the North end of Guelph. Requires a reliable vehicle as you must work out of your car.

Hours:
Every Friday and Saturday Night 11pm to 7am also includes stat holidays.

Rate $17.00/hr plus $3.00/hr vehicle use and fuel allowance.

We will only consider applicants who meet the following criteria.

  • Have a personal vehicle as guard is required to work from theoir vehicle

  • Able to commit to Every Friday and Saturday night.


Responsibilities:


  • Protect company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
  • Interact regularly with the public with importance on good customer service and public relations.
  • Conduct regular patrols in the building for security purposes and to check the boiler room equipment to ensure everything is working.
  • Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.
  • Complete daily report
  • Demonstrating judgement, common sense, and decisionmaking ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents.

Skills:


  • Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position.
  • Trained Security Guard
  • Integrity and professionalism.
  • Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of double vaccination.

  • Reliable vehicle

Job Types:

Permanent, Part-time

Part-time hours: 16-24 per week


Salary:

$20.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Holidays
  • Night shift
  • Weekends only

  • Guelph, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
