We are seeking a full-time, permanent
Financial Analyst to join our team at our head office in
Guelph, ON Not in Guelph, but still interested? This role is being offered as a
hybrid position with working from the office one day per week (Wednesdays).


What it's all about:

As a
Financial Operations Analyst you will be focused on system implementation, process enhancements, and reporting support.

You will be responsible for driving the financial reporting using your working knowledge of accounting procedures and internal control processes.

This role will work as a shared services model between our retail (HearCANADA) and wholesale (WSAudiology) teams.

What you will do:


  • Support the implementation of our tracking systems for the finance team and identify ways to harmonize the processes
  • Work collaboratively with the finance team and other departments to deliver on required reporting structure as it relates to financial and operational data.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize processes
  • Partner with sales & operations, marketing, and finance teams to meet performance objectives
  • Work with operational and financial data to create, manipulate, and maintain databases.

What we are looking for:


  • Postsecondary education in Accounting or Finance
  • 23 years of relevant work experience in building financial reports and combining different data sources
  • Advanced excel skills in formulas, pivot tables, VBA/Power Query (SQL/DAX preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving ability
  • Ability to learn new software and technology quickly
  • Experience with Coupa would be considered a strong asset
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal/external customer and other stakeholders
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to effectively deliver information to all levels of business (peers, business leaders, suppliers, customers, etc)
