About the role


We are seeking a
Business Process Manager at our Head Office, located in South Surrey, a fast-growing area in the Campbell Height Business District.

The Business Development Analyst will be responsible for a full range of activities that will ensure the operational effectiveness and excellence of the organization.


The Business Process Manager will be responsible for a full range of activities that will ensure the operational effectiveness and excellence of the organization.

A strategic business partner that evaluates, designs, executes, measures, monitors, and controls all EBH business processes and day-to-day operations or actively manages the implementation of new processes throughout the company to ensure business process outcomes are in harmony with the organizations' core values, strategic goals, and overall strategic plans.

What you will bring to this role:

Strategic Business Partner:

You will work closely with all key stakeholders to ensure that business process outcomes are in harmony with the organization's strategic goals and overall strategic plans.

Developing and maintaining professional, positive customer relationships, is integral for this role.


Technically Savvy. You possess a digital mindset to utilize or recommend technology for process improvements. Computer skills with high proficiency in MS Office 365, Teams, Excel for designing spreadsheets and analyzing data. Advanced Powerpoint skills for creating impactful presentations and Outlook for organizing and scheduling meetings.


Analytical Mindset. In this role, you will assist in analyzing, identifying, and reviewing data, reports and trends and other internal systems.


Business Process Management. Assist with the maintenance of E.B. Horsman's business processes and online contractor & supplier management compliance platforms to meet internal and governmental record keeping and compliance requirements, including health and safety, procurement, quality and regulatory information.


Quality Control. You will support and initiate action to prevent problems; Documenting quality problems; Contributing to problems solutions; Verifying implementation of solutions; Controlling further processing when a problem is identified.


Values Teamwork. You will collaborate with all key stakeholders and support our internal EBH leadership and branch network. Teamwork is essential in this role.

What you bring to this role:

  • Post-secondary education in business or operations or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a similar role
  • Experience in leading process improvement initiatives for business processes
  • Experience with implementing change management best practices
  • Advanced computer skills with high proficiency in MS Office 365; specifically, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, SharePoint and Outlook, SalesForce, warehouse management systems
  • Strong business acumen, verbal and written communication skills, along with presentation creation and facilitation skills
  • Possess strong organizational skills, resiliency to changing demands, and managing priorities
  • ISO certification knowledge including completion of Quality Management Basics and Auditor Training courses and Lean and/or Six Sigma experience is an asset
  • A digital mindset to utilize technology and data analytics for process improvements
  • Risk management, project management, design thinking, systems thinking, teaching and training experience
  • Proven ability to form strategic partnerships, build relationships and respect cultural diversity
  • Reliable transportation is required
