Job Number:49420**Are you passionate about preserving valuable corporate assets and ensuring regulatory compliance? The Office of the City Clerk (OCC) is seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Corporate Records Administrator

- Ensure that all records are secure, accurate, complete and preserved for future generations
- Attest to the officiality of city records through certification
- Determine, track and assign bylaw, council and administrative policy numbers and statuses
- Review agreements to ensure accurate delegated authority of signatories, content and descriptions, attachments to agreements and agreement template standards
- Provide internal and external reference and research services on Council and Committee records to external and internal clients
- Maintains filing systems and access permissions for the branch
- Provides records management advice and audits classifying, filing and naming of branch records
- Researches and locates corporate records requested by the business areas
- Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications:
- Three (3) years working in an office environment 1 year of which must be experience working in records management
- Certificate in Records Management is an asset
- Experience collating and locating information resources
- Customer service experience
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Knowledge and experience working in records management
- High level of attention to detail
- Experience preparing business correspondence
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

Hours of Work: 33.75 hours per week. Monday through Friday
The weekly hours of work for this position are currently under review and may change at a future time.
Any changes will be made in accordance with the City of Edmonton/Civic Service Union 52 collective agreement and the incumbent will be notified in advance.
