    An overview of your day-to-day

  • You are responsible for planning, carrying out and monitoring the projects entrusted to you.
  • You actively contribute to the different phases of contract negotiation.
  • You are responsible for the quality of the deliverables developed and the achievement of expected results by project teams at the head office and abroad.
  • You analyze risks and impacts and develop strategies to address them.
  • You put in place control and recovery measures in the event of deviations in the project plan, resources, schedules and project costs.
  • You play a critical role in promoting DID to funding agencies, partners and government structures in the countries where DID is active.
  • You exercise influential leadership in the development and implementation of DID's representation strategy with potential funders and clients.
  • You participate in designing, drafting and promoting new projects (conceptual documents, unsolicited proposals, calls for tenders).
  • You facilitate the identification and conclusion of new partnerships.
  • Are you the person we're looking for?

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. A master's degree in project management would be a strong asset.
  • You have 8 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in managing cross-sector teams.
  • You're familiar with the international development sector and financial industry is a must.
  • Your knowledge of the challenges related to financial inclusion and economic and social development in emerging and developing economies is a strong asset. A working knowledge of Africa is a strong asset.
  • You are fluent in French, both spoken and written. You are also comfortable interacting in English.
  • You're known for your ability to quickly understand the issues, negotiate skills and obtain results in line with the corporate strategy.
  • You're familiar with the concepts of results-based management (RBM) and gender equality.
  • You demonstrate an ability to adapt to a variety of socioeconomic and cultural environments.
  • You are available for international travel (3–5 times a year).
