Accountabilities and Detailed Activity:
Warehouse Management:
- Oversee daytoday warehouse workflow.
lumping, freezer, dock and with forklift operating
- Provide direction and direct support to the warehouse workers. This includes assisting in labour and break times and delegating direction
- Ensure warehouse results and targets are being met or exceeded
- Able to communication warehouse needs clearly to warehouse workers and liaise with the General Manager and Office Manager
- Participate in daily management huddles
GMP & Safety Compliance:
- Contribute and be involved in following Occupational Health and Safety Standards, safe operating procedures for Forklifts and Good Manufacturing Practices
- Oversee employee compliance with overall safety compliance and implement measures when deviations are noted
- Monitor equipment and escalate issues to Chief Engineer or GM accordingly
- Ensures all company guidelines, GMP's and general safety compliance is followed and implemented as assigned
Leadership & Training:
- Train warehouse workers on warehouse equipment, lumping and dock procedures
- Ensure all internal processes and practices are adhered to by warehouse workers
- Directing workers, coaching the team for areas of improvement
- Employee recognition
- Successfully work alongside Inventory Lead and afternoon shift lead with successful shift handoffs
Order Fulfillment:
Accurately & Timely:
- Monitor the warehouse to ensure that all goals and tasks are being fulfilled in a timely manner
- Ensure that trucks are loaded and unloaded adhering to daily demand and time constraints
- Efficiency improvement (overtime reduction)
Team Performance:
- Monitor the performance of the warehouse workers; support them in areas of improvement and growth
- Follow all procedures and lead by example
- Ensure warehouse workers feel supported and motivated to accomplish goals efficiently
- Recognize members of the team who may require further support or training opportunity
- Surpass the set targets, keep goals clear and focused. Encourage team building

Minimum Requirements:
Education and/or Professional Designation:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of experience and education. Warehouse and/or Logistics education considered an asset
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment
- Leading people experience considered an asset
- Cold Storage experience considered an asset
Language Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Fluent in English
Technical Skills:
- Computer system: excel, material control
- Good mathematical skills
- RF Scanner, previous WMS experience an asset
Soft Skills:
- Thrives in a team environment
- A demonstrated capacity and interest in learning and developing
- Strong problemsolving and organizational skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
