- Saturdays from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
- Wednesdays from 10:30 am – 6:00 pm
- Two (2) other seven (7) hour days
- Early Childhood Education Assistant, or minimum of one year experience OR a combination of related
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License and access to a vehicle
- Supports parents/caregivers in finding childcare and applying for grants and child care subsidy.
- Responds to information requests from parents, care providers, and the general public.
- Engages children and their parents/caregivers during play-based learning programs.
- Supports networking and peers supports for families with young children and child care providers.
- Supports families/caregivers with navigating community resources and referrals to
- Assists the CCRR team's outreach and resources to childcare providers.
- Maintains a toy/equipment lending library, ensuring safety by doing, at the minimum, annual safety
- Ability to work effectively with families, professionals, community members and potential service
- Demonstrated knowledge of child growth development.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate programs and workshops.
- Knowledge of standards and requirements of Community Care Facilities Licensing Child Care Act and
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Successful completion of a criminal record check
- Valid BC Driver's License, reliable vehicle, clean driving record, and the ability to obtain business use
- Early Intervention and Prevention Training.

Nature of Position
The CCRR Assistant is responsible for the effective delivery of Child Care Resource & Referral services, including
the Toy Library and Affordable Child Care Benefit Support. The CCRR Assistant will work 25hrs/week including
Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and one evening per week.
