The Role:


The Team Member, Assembly is responsible for the assembly of floors, walls, windows, doors or any other manually built components of the home.

The Team Member, Assembly is responsible for the operation of machines used in the fabrication, assembly, layout and framing of products in all lines.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform simple, routine, and repetitive tasks involving physical labor and is required to operate equipment and hand and power tools.
  • Ensure the efficient operation of equipment and assembly of equipment used in the manufacturing of products according to established procedures, following all safety protocols and workplace policies.
  • Maintain preventive maintenance, safety, 5S and quality control processes and ensuring cleanliness standards are met in the work area.
  • Operation of equipment used in the manufacturing of products and complete the assembly of product according to instructions, ontime, and to the prescribed quality standard.
  • Escalating issues that may impact production to the Team Leader or supervisor on duty.
  • Ensuring required materials and supplies are available at all times.
  • Actively participate in problem solving sessions and continuously identify improvement initiatives.
  • Operates one or more machine operating positions at the assigned work area and provides training to others
  • Stops machines, tools or processes for safety and operational concerns.
  • Perform any other duties as required.

You will bring:


  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Residential construction knowledge and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools.
  • Knowledge of imperial and metric measurement systems.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Strong ability to work in a solutionsoriented environment.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, and regular access to a vehicle.
