Key Responsibilities

  • Development of Talent Acquisition programs and procedures to support the overall TA function in delivering top recruitment services to the business.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities to create efficiencies within the HR team.
  • Lead initiatives with various stakeholders to enhance and reimagine Aecon's TA programs and processes.
  • Accountability and management of Aecon's HR policies including the development and review of policies and ensuring compliance with changing legislation.
  • Prepare and update documents, templates, process flows, and other relevant materials as required.
  • Support crossfunctional teams in solving complex issues.
  • Recognize business need, engage and collaborate with the business when new projects or requests are made.
  • Liaising with key stakeholders to gather information, process definition, communication plans, change management and rollout plans.
  • Creatively bring ideas to life, design and develop appropriate content for the selected delivery method
  • Advanced research and data analysis skills and a demonstrated ability to draw associated insights and make effective recommendations
  • Research industry trends, create reports, dashboards and effective metrics to support business needs.
  • Gather feedback to ensure the evolution of programs and tools meet evolving business needs.
  • Troubleshoot issues as required

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • 35 years' experience within area of specialization
  • Experience with SuccessFactors is an asset
  • Advanced research and data analysis skills and a demonstrated ability to draw associated insights and make effective recommendations

  • Progressive and forward thinking, research industry trends and innovations.
  • Provide consultation and develop training materials
  • Ability to successfully navigate a fastpaced, complex and changing work environment, while managing multiple and shifting priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability and confidence in presenting and delivering content to end users, which in some cases can be fairly complex information.
  • Highly developed problemsolving ability and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with others in order to achieve the best results and deliver the most value
