Sc. in biology or related field
Having previous experience with aquatic biology is preferred.
Technical knowledge in aquatics and/or terrestrial biology
Field experience leading aquatic and/or terrestrial programs
Experience with environmental monitoring and/or environmental inspection
Multi-jurisdictional knowledge of environmental regulations, policies, and permit application processes
Adept in the operation and maintenance of required field equipment
Proficient in the operation of off-highway vehicles
Experience providing monitoring and/or inspection services on pipeline construction projects is considered an asset.
Experience operating boats, including jet-drive is considered an asset.
This position will entail working in the field. Candidates must be able to travel and work remotely for durations of up to three weeks at a time.
For more senior level candidates, there could be potential to do more office-based work and/or later consideration of getting involved in more project coordination/management related work.
