Job Description:
We are looking for a full-time person to join our Dealer-facing IT team as a Supervisor.
In joining this team you will find yourself in the centre of a significant transformational effort that sees us looking to transform our systems/processes to both digitize operations and set the table for Honda's overall electrification process.
We are looking for a highly motivated and accomplished Automotive professional that has experience working in either sales or service operations in a supervisory or senior project management capacity.
Additionally, we're looking for a person that is highly collaborative, a contributor to a positive/progressive work environment and motivated to be part of a team that's transforming automotive systems and operations.
Responsibilities
- Leading and managing multiple project teams
- Training new hires
- Creating and managing team project assignment
- Evaluating performance and providing feedback.
- Helping to resolve employee issues.
- Providing innovative approaches to create new solutions that contribute to the achievement of the organization's targets and delivery of business outcomes
- Establishing and maintaining a high level of project governance
- Building and communicating roadmaps, project plans, UI/UX, RAID logs to all stakeholders including Business and Technology Leadership
- Influencing, negotiating, and securing buyin and understanding within the organization
- Effectively and simply communicating complex concepts to business audiences
- Creating internal and external partnerships to enable business success
- Ensuring that your teams and project adhere to established Honda practices and standards to achieve high quality outputs
- Project team resource management base on the project plan
- Having your teams collaborate effectively with our internal IT technical partners, other Honda companies and vendors
- Researching and understanding industry trends and their applicability to Honda
Qualifications
- A of minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in the IT industry with strong knowledge of project management, project governance, delivering complex, multistakeholder projects
- Experience with agile/hybrid agile and an ability to help lead our journey to reinvent how we drive our practices to become faster and more productive while not compromising both security and compliance
- Either relevant postsecondary education or equivalent experience
- Experience facilitating sessions, helping participants reach decisions and accomplish goals
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to foster crossteam alignment
- The ability to coach and support teams on concepts and processes
- The ability to lead and facilitate sessions
- The ability to use verbal communication to disseminate complex concepts
- The ability to write clear and succinct documents and to create engaging diagrams
- The ability to create, present and publish the project status to senior level management
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and problemsolving skills
- The ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment with changing priorities.
